Facebook Connectivity
Role: Creative Director & Art Director
Support: Lauren Stokes, Graphic Artist
Facebook Connectivity’s Virtual Forum Series Edition1 was the first in a series kicking off ongoing cadence of FBC virtual events. Our job was to create and execute a virtual event strategy intended to help partially replace engagement previously supported by live Industry events (many of which are cancelled or can not provide direct engagement anymore) as well as create a series of ongoing communications with key targets (partners, analyst, press, etc ) to meet FBC business goals for growth, awareness and sentiment. We created a custom virtual event site to host a variety of live stream and pre-recorded content with chat functionality so the audience could ask questions and engage with each other during the sessions.

Less is more.
And sometimes, the only option.
We wanted to help Facebook tell a powerful story during the ‘walk-in’ portion of their session open, but with their re-brand was still in progress and the summit occurring in October of 2020, amidst the coronavirus pandemic, many of their decision makers were hesitant to show faces without masks and shooting new footage was not an option. We opted for a clean, simple graphic brand story utilizing their bright, bold colors, focusing on their key messages and keeping in line with the simplistic microsite.
